RF Design Validation/Testing Co-Op

Skyworks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa, Canada. As an RF Design Validation/Testing Co-op student, you will have the opportunity to apply your sound engineering skills to a variety of tasks and project assignments in the area of electronics, design engineering, and semiconductor component test development.
Key Responsibilities- Support RF test evaluation of RFICs and multichip modules
- Perform RF tests, evaluate and summarize results, and present data to design engineers
- May be involved in design evaluation, simulation, and debugging of RF switches, filters, couplers, PA's, LNA's, and FEM's
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree's program
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data organization
- Knowledge in RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.) is an asset
- RFIC Design and Simulation experience will be a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in using RF equipment such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources
