Job Summary

Skyworks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RF Test Engineering Co-Op to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the field of radio frequency testing according to wireless communication standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build RF test setups and harnesses.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to develop test plans.
  • Calibrate various test setups to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Perform spectral, network, and modulated signal analysis.
  • Analyze and interpret test data to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Document test procedures and update existing ones.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in Electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field pursuing a BS or MS degree.
  • Understanding of RF Technology, RF principles, and testing methodology.
  • Proactive approach to improving test benches and providing feedback for test procedures and test programs.
  • Knowledge of RF test equipment: Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Power meter, etc.
  • Knowledge of LabView and Python for test automation and data processing is a plus.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to understand schematics and diagrams.
  • Team-oriented attitude, accountability, and ownership.
What We Offer

The typical pay range for an intern is CAD $44.00 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on level of education and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
