Job Summary

Skyworks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa, Canada. As an RF Design Validation/Testing Co-op student, you will have the opportunity to apply your sound engineering skills to a variety of tasks and project assignments in the area of electronics, design engineering, and semiconductor component test development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support RF test evaluation of RFICs and multichip modules
  • Perform RF tests, evaluate and summarize results, and present data to design engineers
  • Assist in design evaluation, simulation, and debugging of RF switches, filters, couplers, PA's, LNA's, and FEM's
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree's program
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data organization
  • Knowledge in RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.) is an asset
  • RFIC Design and Simulation experience will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in using RF equipment such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources
