About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient food service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas. Maintain accurate records of food quantities and inventory levels.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs. Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, ensuring a clean and safe food environment.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
