About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 1252225 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our food service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Training and Support: Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, and provide on-the-job training tailored to youth.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
