Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at MAX'S BAKERY & DELI LTD. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient food service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation and Handling: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and keep records of food quantities used.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless food service experience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, dependability, and positive attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
