About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient food service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as burgers, sandwiches, and salads, to meet customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, handle customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient food service experience, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of heavy loads.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, multitasking, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
