Quality and Patient Safety Analyst

We are seeking a Quality and Patient Safety Specialist to support our organization in Downtown Toronto. This role will provide support to all departments in quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and the patient experience. Key responsibilities include assisting with healthcare accreditation preparation, leading patient and staff experience surveys, and coordinating the collection and analysis of quality data.
Responsibilities:
- Support healthcare accreditation preparation, documentation, education, and related activities.
- Design, implement, and evaluate patient and staff experience surveys.
- Collect, analyze, and present quality data and performance indicators.
- Maintain records and submissions for contractual quality standards.
- Facilitate incident reviews and analysis to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Monitor resources, progress, and measures for Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and Patient Safety Plan.
- Lead internal safety surveillance and audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in healthcare or comparable industry.
- Completion of relevant post-secondary education in a health-related field.
- Experience leading healthcare accreditation (e.g., Accreditation Canada, CARF Canada).
- Training or certification in Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Evaluation, and Project Management.
