Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Health Psychologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing behavioral health services to family practice clinics within the Primary Care Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, pathways, protocols, and decision support tools for family practice patients.
  • Provide training and supervision to behavioral health coaches for the treatment of patients identified to be at risk for early stages of chronic disease.
  • Develop and supervise the delivery of group-based treatment programs, evaluating their effectiveness and providing new recommendations and program development as appropriate.
  • Provide assessment and short-term direct specialized services to patients experiencing a high level of complex concerns.
  • Coordinate with medical and mental health providers to ensure wrap-around and comprehensive care for clients requiring a higher level of mental health assessment and treatment.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized educational institution.
  • Registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Five (5) years recent related experience within primary care, chronic health, or related setting employing knowledge/understanding of cognitive and behavioral health change and demonstrated experience leading psychological interventions and consultations working within an interdisciplinary team environment.
