Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 905753 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our hotel operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Food Service Operations
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food and beverage services.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimating ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Administrative and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise the assembly of trays.
- Team Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance.
- Security and Safety
- Ensure compliance with basic security clearance requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
- Personal Suitability
- Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and a team player attitude.
- Exhibit initiative and dependability in all aspects of the job.
- Government Programs
- Work with a recognized employer, 905753 Alberta Ltd., in a permanent position with a standard 35-40 hour workweek.
- Communicate effectively in English, the primary language of the workplace.
