Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Old Spaghetti Factory (Banff) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize costs
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism in a customer-facing role.
