Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Old Spaghetti Factory (Banff) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
