About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2022994 Alberta LTD. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help them improve their performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
