About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Cummings Small Engine Service. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to customer inquiries
  • Manage inventory, including receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming parts and supplies
  • Process sales transactions, including handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Prepare and track work orders, requisition orders, and inventory control records
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the warehouse, tool room, and supply area
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective parts distribution
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a parts or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
