Parts Counter Clerk

Cummings Small Engine Service is seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and process requisition orders.
- Transaction Processing: Handle cash transactions, process sales calls, and prepare work orders.
- Parts Sales: Sell spare and replacement parts to customers, including small engines and generators.
- Warehouse Operations: Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The work environment is dusty, noisy, and may involve odors. The physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. The weight handling capacity is up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
