Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Wok Box - Meadow Lake. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of food quantities used and restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash in a timely and efficient manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience in the food industry is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and overtime required.
- Personal Suitability: Strong team player with initiative and a positive attitude.
This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The work language is English.
