Location: Various locations in Poland

Duration: Renewable contract
Working hours: Primarily evenings and weekends
Compensation: Hourly rate based on a sliding scale

Role Context and Purpose

We seek freelance educators to collaborate with our academic teams in delivering lessons and services. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong interest in teaching young learners, supported by relevant studies and experience, and a commitment to working with a global leader in English education, benefiting from access to recognized professional training.

Our teaching center operates with a diverse team of educators, providing extensive class hours to a large student body weekly. Instruction occurs in multiple classrooms and various off-site locations, including corporate training environments.

We offer two semesters and summer courses tailored for learners of all ages and proficiency levels, alongside specialized corporate courses and cultural workshops. Adult General English and Cambridge Exam courses are also available through our online model, ensuring year-round learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

Design, prepare, and deliver a specified number of high-quality English language lessons, catering to both adult and young learners. Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance and promote learner independence. Contribute to the development and refinement of English language courses and materials to meet student needs, actively participating as a member of the teaching team. Complete administrative tasks related to teaching to established standards. Uphold safeguarding and guidelines in accordance with policies concerning: Child protection and adult safeguarding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Safety and Security

In light of ongoing global challenges, educators may be required to conduct lessons online.

Freelance instructors will be assigned up to 15 hours of teaching per week and must be available for the entire term schedule of their classes. Opportunities for standby and long-term cover work may also be available.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the right to live and work in the EU. A police check is required prior to employment. Candidates must be established as self-employed prior to commencement.

We offer support with necessary paperwork and official visits to assist with potential language barriers.

Qualifications:

First Degree (or equivalent) Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL (Core) or PGCE

Skills:

High proficiency in English, equivalent to CEFR level C2 or IELTS Band 8+ across all sections of the academic module.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years post-certificate teaching experience. Experience teaching various age groups, including: Young Learners (6 to 7 years old) Primary Learners (8 to 10 years old) Secondary Learners (11 to 14 years old) Secondary Learners (15 to 17 years old) Adults in General English

Newly qualified teachers may be eligible for our Foundation Teacher Programme, which includes mentorship and tailored training to support their development as educators.

Experience with Young Learners aged 6 or younger is also beneficial.

Please note that one-on-one tutoring will not be considered relevant teaching experience.
