Role Context and Purpose

We seek freelance educators to collaborate with our academic teams in delivering lessons and services. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong interest in teaching young learners, backed by relevant studies and experience, and a commitment to working with a global leader in English education, with access to recognized professional training.

Our teaching center provides extensive English language instruction, catering to a diverse student body across various age groups and proficiency levels. We also offer specialized corporate training and workshops.

Responsibilities

Design, prepare, and deliver a specified number of high-quality English language lessons for both adult and young learners. Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance and promote learner independence. Contribute to the development and enhancement of English language courses and materials to meet student needs, collaborating effectively with the teaching team. Complete administrative tasks related to teaching in accordance with established standards. Uphold safeguarding and policy guidelines in areas such as: Child protection and adult safeguarding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Safety and Security

In light of ongoing global health considerations, educators may be required to conduct lessons online.

Freelance instructors may be offered up to 15 hours of teaching per week, with the expectation to cover the full-term schedule for assigned classes. Opportunities for standby and long-term cover work may also be available.

Requirements

Applicants must possess the right to live and work in the EU, as work permits cannot be secured for non-EU nationals. A police check is mandatory for all applicants prior to employment. Candidates will be engaged as independent contractors and must be self-employed before commencing work.

We offer assistance with paperwork and official visits to navigate potential language barriers.

Qualifications:

First Degree (or equivalent) Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL (Core) or PGCE

Skills:

High proficiency in English, equivalent to CEFR level C2 or IELTS Band 8+ across all sections of the academic module.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' post-certificate teaching experience (Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL). Experience teaching various age groups, including: Young Learners (6 to 7 years old) Primary Learners (8 to 10 years old) Secondary Learners (11 to 14 years old) Secondary Learners (15 to 17 years old) Adults in General English courses.

Newly qualified teachers lacking this level of experience may be eligible for our Foundation Teacher Programme, which includes mentorship and tailored training.

Experience with Young Learners aged 6 or younger is also valued.

Please note that one-on-one tutoring will not be considered relevant teaching experience.
