Overview

KPMG in Canada is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Workday Financials practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business development activities, including identification, proposal development, and pursuit activities, in collaboration with KPMG resources from other service lines/industries.
  • Plan and manage engagements under the leadership of the Partner, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their teams, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Lead client engagements and teams to successful outcomes, focusing on delivering value and generating revenue.
  • Design and configure Workday Financials solutions for various clients across multiple industries, leveraging your expertise to drive business results.
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities and conduct root cause analysis to resolve complex issues.
  • Develop a reputation as a subject matter expert for Workday Financials, providing thought leadership and guidance to clients and colleagues.
  • Build long-term business relationships with senior client personnel and executives through engagements and professional networking.
  • Collaborate with senior KPMG leaders to enhance and integrate service offerings across the service line.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with Workday Financials, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Workday Financials certification is highly desirable (candidates without certification will be required to obtain it within three months of employment).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with an accounting designation (CPA) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Source to Pay, Order to Cash, Payroll, Acquire to Retire, Project Accounting, Record to Report, and Plan to Perform processes.
  • Proven experience working in a client-facing role with technical and functional stakeholders, with strong relationship management skills and a passion for client satisfaction and delivery excellence.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with client stakeholders and leadership.
  • Fluency in English and French is considered an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Travel may be up to 30%.
