Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading front-end operations, and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage front-end operations, including customer service, sales floor management, and cash handling
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and implement company programs
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs to minimize losses and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory processes, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Train and develop team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
- Serve as a role model and provide coaching and feedback to team members
- Participate in the performance management process and contribute to the development of team members
- 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar role
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing operational efficiency
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service and sales growth
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes
