We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Store Administrator at No Frills. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and supporting the store manager in achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact for colleagues and customers, providing support and guidance on HR-related matters and executing tasks at the store level.
- Manage basic accounting and finance duties, including payroll, accounts payable, and banking operations.
- Be proactive in the recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, and orientations for hourly workforce.
- Maintain accurate employee information in the employee database.
- Perform office duties and store administrator tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
- Manage the front-end team, including day-to-day operations, training, and coaching.
- Oversee cash office operations, including safe management, paperwork, and cash handling.
- Model customer service, policy, and health and safety standards.
- Identify and recruit top talent to join our team.
- Build and lead diverse teams that foster a culture of inclusiveness and belonging.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to support the store, customers, and team.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with company systems, such as Swedamart, Workday, Persona, and SAP, would be an asset.
- Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Demonstrated teamwork and commitment to contributing to store team results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- People management experience and leadership skills would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational abilities, including managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable store/office environment.
- Computer skills, including PC applications, Outlook, Word, and Excel, would be an asset.
