Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Assist with training and development of kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English, and the work setting is in a restaurant in an urban area.
