Job Description for Administrative Assistant
  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct staff members to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to meet organizational needs.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely meetings and events.
  • Manage contracts to ensure compliance and meet organizational needs.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to maintain effective communication.
  • Answer electronic enquiries to provide timely and accurate responses.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support decision-making.
  • Advise senior management on administrative matters to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations to support business needs.
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accessibility and organization.
  • Perform data entry to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide customer service to maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Recruit and hire staff to ensure a skilled and diverse workforce.
  • Work Environment: Khela Excavating Ltd.
