Job Summary

Metro Inc. is seeking a skilled Meat Department Team Member to join our team. As a Meat Department Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with meat product inquiries and provide recommendations
  • Merchandise and maintain a clean and organized meat department
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a retail or food service environment an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
