Wholesale Meat Specialist

Newmarket Meat Packers Limited is in search of a proficient Wholesale Meat Specialist to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in the meat processing sector and will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Sanitizing and preparing meats for further processing
  • Segmenting carcasses, sides, and quarters
  • Creating standard meat cuts
  • Packaging and sealing meat products
  • Removing bones as necessary
  • Weighing meat products accurately
  • Grinding and slicing various meats
  • Managing special customer requests

The successful applicant should be familiar with an array of tools and machinery, such as:

  • Band saws
  • Manual cutting tools
  • Electric grinders
  • Slicing equipment

This position is a permanent full-time role, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within our team.
