We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Newmarket Meat Packers Limited. As a key member of our wholesale meat sales team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Processing: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- Meat Preparation: Wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat, and weigh meats for sale.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including slicing cooked meats.
- Equipment and Machinery: Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English language proficiency required.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
