Job Summary:
Metro Inc. is seeking a skilled Meat Clerk to join our team. As a Meat Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge of meat products and merchandising techniques to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the Meat team to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating meat products.
- Participate in visual merchandising and display of meat products to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
