As a trusted business partner, we offer a full range of payment processing solutions and payment innovation for all types of businesses.

The Senior Manager, Relationship Management is a key role within TD Merchant Solutions, responsible for managing and acquiring large client relationships. This position interacts with C-level executives, focusing on strategy and revenue growth, and TD Business Banking for new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and acquire large client relationships, driving profitable growth and client retention.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to deepen merchant relationships, leveraging advice capabilities and industry insights.
  • Formulate portfolio growth objectives, seeking cross-sell opportunities with existing merchants.
  • Build and develop meaningful relationships with key Bank Partners to drive purposeful acquisition and fully franchise existing merchant relationships.
  • Lead and support a high-performing diverse team, providing ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
  • Foster a performance-based culture, prioritizing the value proposition in all merchant interactions.
  • Monitor and maintain risk exposure across the merchant portfolio, working with Credit and Risk Partners.

  • Strong leadership-level communication skills and organizational awareness, with the ability to engage the organization and influence senior executives.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous spaces and balance stakeholder input while remaining objective and resilient.

  • Strong business acumen, with proven relationship management experience and a high motivation to achieve results.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
