Job Title: Property Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to oversee the daily activities and maintenance of our commercial properties in downtown Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of preventative safety measures and cleanliness are met, while also managing the annual expense budget and preparing monthly forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee building operations, including maintenance staff, external contractors, and building technical facilities
- Perform weekly inspections of the buildings and property grounds
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
- Manage the annual expense budget and prepare monthly forecasts
- Negotiate and manage service contracts with property services group
- Collaborate with various departments and suppliers
- Respond to emergencies related to property operations
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of experience in commercial property management
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Ability to delegate responsibilities to subcontracts
- Organized and able to work under minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of building systems and construction
- Excellent customer service skills
- Tech savvy and understanding of commercial leases
- Bilingual
