Market Sector Leader, New Mobility Job Description

About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our New Mobility market sector in Canada. As a Market Sector Leader, you will be responsible for driving growth, overseeing business development initiatives, and providing subject matter expertise in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market strategies to expand Arcadis' presence in the transportation market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
  • Lead a team to deliver innovative and integrated data-based transport solutions
  • Collaborate with other sector leaders and business areas for cross-functional initiatives
  • Use market intelligence to inform decision-making and develop strategies for maintaining a competitive edge

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Transportation Planning, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a leadership role within the transportation sector
  • Strong business development skills and a track record of successfully winning and managing projects
  • Good knowledge of transportation planning, design, and construction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership positions with public transportation agencies
  • Active leader within the American Public Transportation Association (APTA)
  • Proven understanding of the application and embedment of new technologies, products, and services in the planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license or relevant certifications
