Underground Mining Equipment Maintenance Expert

Reports to: Service Manager, Hard Rock Distribution
Shift: 5x2, 8 hours per day
Location: Sudbury, ON
Relocation: This position may be eligible for relocation.
- Maintain, repair, and service underground mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts and components at customer locations to minimize downtime.
- Build strong working relationships with relevant co-workers to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Participate in and be committed to a strong safety culture to achieve Komatsu's organizational Safety, Health, and Environmental goals.
- Comply with Komatsu company policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician, Red Seal Certification is ideal.
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
- Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is essential.
- Detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy to ensure quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Qualified candidates will have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
- Experience in previous field service environments is an asset.
- Able to demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team to achieve common goals.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications to manage tasks and communicate with colleagues.
- Ability to work shift work from time to time to accommodate customer needs.
