Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Super 8 Edmonton Int. Airport. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
