Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Super 8 Edmonton Int. Airport. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all guests are checked in and out accurately.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering telephone calls and relaying messages as needed.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment and provide excellent service to our guests.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
