About the Role:

Renaud Consulting IM/IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement through strategic advice and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies and plans to achieve organizational objectives
  • Provide strategic advice and direction to senior management on a range of issues affecting the organization's ability to achieve its business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to address them
  • Develop and manage the implementation of organizational improvement plans to identify, analyze, plan, track, and control organizational improvements on a continuous basis
  • Make recommendations and provide advice for improvements and assist in developing solutions and implementing recommendations
  • Collect and analyze information and present findings on complex issues, carrying out or coordinating research as required and preparing reports
  • Define and produce business requirement documents
  • Coach on business
  • Assist stakeholders in understanding their strategic goals
  • Analyze stakeholders' business objectives and recommend and develop solutions to address their business problems
  • Implement and evaluate cross-functional decisions that will enable an organization to achieve its objectives
  • Assess the organization's capacity/capability to undertake and successfully deliver an initiative or change

Qualifications:

  • Must have been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for at least three (3) years in the Government of Canada within the last ten (10) years and a CIO in the public or private sector within the past fifteen (15) years
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the last fifteen (15) years providing strategic advice and direction for financial or corporate management systems to senior management in the Public Sector
  • Must have three (3) years of experience in the business transformation of SAP-based financial systems within the last ten (10) years within the Government of Canada
  • Must have at least ten (10) years' experience within the last fifteen (15) years at the Senior Management level in developing a broad range of processes and policies in an Information Management/Information Technology/Enterprise Transformation environment
