Job Description

Job Title: Strategic Corporate Real Estate Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Corporate Real Estate Advisor to join our team at Tiree. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic planning and implementation of complex corporate real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in the review of the organization's business objectives, vision, and strategy for their real estate portfolio and support the prioritization of projects based on a detailed assessment of needs.
  • Analysis: Perform analysis of various strategic options to consider financial impacts, risks, liabilities, and opportunities, to deliver the best outcome for the client.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support all activities related to stakeholder engagement in addition to planning and implementation stages to review options and recommendations, ensuring comprehensive due diligence is conducted.
  • Approvals: Contribute to the development of associated approval deliverables such as financial analysis, business cases, investment analysis reports, and support the development of Treasury Board Submissions and Memorandums to Cabinet.
  • Project Planning: Research land development (master plans and detailed site development plans) and urban planning considerations to ensure each project is developed with a comprehensive consideration of all pertinent factors.
Qualifications:
  • Education: University degree or college diploma in finance/business/commerce/accounting, or a field related to construction/architecture/engineering.
  • Experience: Previous experience in corporate real estate asset management analysis, life-cycle costing, financial analysis, and investment analysis and asset performance measurement.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the processes involved in developing real property master plans, investment analysis reports, business cases, options analyses, and risk management plans.
  • Skills: Effective organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret clearance.
