Position Overview:

The Business Consultant will play a crucial role in enhancing organizational effectiveness and achieving strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Define the organization's goals and develop comprehensive policies and plans to meet these objectives.

· Provide guidance to senior leadership on various issues impacting the organization's capacity to reach its business goals.

· Identify and prioritize opportunities for organizational enhancement and improvement.

· Develop and oversee the execution of an organizational improvement strategy that includes identifying, analyzing, planning, tracking, and controlling improvements on an ongoing basis.

· Offer recommendations and advice for enhancements, assisting in the formulation of solutions and the implementation of these recommendations.

· Gather and analyze data, presenting findings on complex matters, coordinating necessary research, and preparing detailed reports.

· Create and produce business requirement documentation.

· Provide coaching on business practices.

· Assist stakeholders in comprehending their strategic objectives.

· Analyze stakeholders' business goals and recommend and develop solutions to address their challenges.

· Implement and assess cross-functional decisions that will enable the organization to achieve its objectives.

· Evaluate the organization's capacity and capability to undertake and successfully deliver initiatives or changes.

· Define, develop, and implement business strategies and plans.

· Examine the relationship between the organization's goals and the operational execution required to achieve those objectives at both strategic and operational levels.

· Transform problems into solutions or new opportunities, identifying and researching best practices.

· Conduct Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis.

· Develop mission and vision statements.

Additional Tasks:

The Business Consultant may be required to perform the following tasks as directed by the Project Authority:

· Consider best practices from other sectors.

· Ensure alignment with relevant policy frameworks and initiatives.

· Account for the impacts of transformative activities within the broader governmental context.

· Engage relevant stakeholders in the development of final deliverables.

· Identify options for business models and opportunities for strengthening and reforming roles to enhance effectiveness.

· Propose realignment of roles and responsibilities to meet transformation needs while achieving resource efficiency.

· Identify risks associated with the implementation of proposals, along with strategies for risk mitigation.

· Develop implementation strategies as required.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a minimum of three years within the Government sector in the last decade, along with experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) in either public or private sectors within the past fifteen years.

· A minimum of ten years of experience in the last fifteen years providing strategic advice and direction for financial or corporate management systems to senior management in the public sector.

· At least three years of experience in the business transformation of SAP-based financial systems within the last decade in the Government sector.

· A minimum of ten years' experience at the senior management level in developing a wide range of processes and policies in an Information Management/Information Technology/Enterprise Transformation environment.
