Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Athabasca Hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality standards.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make data-driven decisions to optimize hotel performance.
- Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring the hotel's facilities and equipment are well-maintained and up-to-date.
- Enforce policies and procedures, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Establish work schedules and manage staff in various areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in hotel management or a related field.
- College diploma or equivalent in hospitality or a related field.
- Smart Serve certification and proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
