At Sun Life Financial, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Event Strategist to lead our robust program in support of Excel at Hybrid objectives. As a key member of the People Strategy and Enablement team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding services and enabling business communications for a vibrant and engaged employee culture.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive senior business leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading large corporate events, hospitality, and/or employee experience service teams. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation: Identify opportunities to accelerate the Excel at Hybrid program and deliver outstanding event experiences to support leaders and engage employees, advisors, clients, and guests.
  • Strategic and project planning and delivery: Collaborate with cross-departmental partners to consult on capital project space design, technology, and operational modeling for experience programs and site upgrades.
  • Digital leadership: Develop and execute an advanced hybrid technology strategy, including transitioning practices and operational tools, and iterating the use of highly specialized technology platforms, systems, and practices delivered by audio-visual and technical teams.
  • Business leadership: Provide advanced business management acumen and technology improvement management, leveraging data to drive operational change.
  • Communication: Possess exceptional communication skills to effectively promote and explain complex services, new initiatives, and present compelling business cases for change to executive leaders.
  • Data analytics and financial management: Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
