Job Title: Senior Event Strategist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Event Strategist to join our team.

Job Description:
  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 to 50 hours of work per week.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required, but we prefer higher education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
Benefits:
  • Dental plan included.
Compensation:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year based on qualifications and location.

About the Role:

The Senior Event Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing event strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes.
  • Evaluating communication strategies and programs.
  • Implementing communication strategies and programs.
  • Overseeing the preparation of public written materials.
  • Preparing bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids.
  • Producing educational and publicity programs and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter.
  • Publicizing activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes.
  • Supervising staff.
  • Training staff.
  • Acting as a spokesperson for the organization.
  • Answering written and oral inquiries.
  • Conducting public opinion and attitude surveys.
  • Designing, conducting, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research projects.
  • Conducting online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions.
  • Soliciting event donors.
  • Reviewing bids and negotiating costs.
  • Researching and designing special events programs.
  • Preparing, presenting, and managing budgets.
  • Planning for required documentation and for pre- and post-distribution of documentation (itineraries, evaluations, etc.).
  • Planning for traffic and crowd control and security.
  • Planning for translation and interpretation services.
  • Planning schedules, goals, and objectives.
  • Implementing registration systems.
  • Developing policies and procedures and attending to other management responsibilities.
  • Developing risk management plans.
  • Developing financial procedures.
  • Confirming and coordinating speakers.
  • Arranging for shipping, receiving, and storage.
  • Planning for VIP arrangements.
  • Managing event logistics.
  • Coordinating media services.
  • Coordinating and monitoring conference and meeting activities and attending to related details.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
  • Identifying human resources requirements.
  • Planning and overseeing webinars.
  • Assisting in preparing financial reports.
  • Administering revenues and expenditures.
