Job Title: Senior Wildlife Biologist - Power and Energy

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Senior Wildlife Biologist to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients in the power and energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services and solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership on major projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports and results.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for environmental assessment and permitting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a team of technical specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge and expertise to drive business growth and success.
Requirements:
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation in Alberta and British Columbia is an asset.
  • 15+ years of environmental consulting experience, specifically in the power and energy sector in western Canada.
  • Extensive experience with environmental assessment and permitting, including federal, provincial, and territorial regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a demanding work environment.
  • Demonstrate ERM values and become a safety ambassador.
