Job Summary

Associated Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Wildlife Biologist to join our team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary projects related to wildlife and species inventories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biologists, ecologists, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and information related to wildlife and species inventories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project success.
  • Manage and maintain project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring financial compliance.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and ensure their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to wildlife and species inventories.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, ecology, or environmental science.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a consulting or environmental services firm.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for short periods of time.
