The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wildlife Biologist to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. As a key member of our natural sciences practice, you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals on a wide range of projects across various market sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, suppliers, and peers to advance our company's reputation and interests.
  • Support and mentor junior and intermediate professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide expert advice on projects primarily within Western Canada, leveraging your extensive knowledge of applicable provincial and federal legislation and guidance.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and quality control within the natural sciences practice, ensuring the highest standards of work.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and efficiencies, driving business growth and improvement.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in wildlife biology or a related field.
  • Status as a Professional Biologist.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and think critically.
  • Strong understanding of applicable provincial and federal legislation and guidance.

Base Salary

$81,000 – $155,000 annually.
