About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Assistant to join our team at Goldleaf Construction Inc. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt with attention to detail.
  • Assist the medical examiner in charge with tasks as required.
  • Help align pipes during pipeline construction with accuracy.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs with a focus on quality.
  • Pave and rake asphalt with efficiency.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials with care.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites with attention to safety.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction with expertise.
Work Environment

As a Construction Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a team setting.

Requirements
  • Steel-toed safety boots are a must.
  • Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
