Belvika Trade & Packaging Ltd. is a leading contract packaging company seeking a skilled Material Control Coordinator to join its Export facility in Mississauga. As a key member of the inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility has all necessary products, materials, equipment, and supplies to operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure record accuracy;
  • Participate in physical and cycle counting inventory processes;
  • Manage CHEP and PECO portfolios;
  • Order CHEP and PECO pallets;
  • Reconcile Book to Book balances between Belvika and its Customers' ERP System;
  • Ensure inventory cleanup by disposing of items after customer approval and creating certificates of disposal;
  • Perform daily component checks to prevent production line downtime;
  • Investigate pallets in BTPL audits;
  • Compare Nulogy and Hershey SAP for Halloween items;
  • Plan transfers to and from Traders' locations;
  • Assist shunting drivers with transfer activities;
  • Make SAP adjustments for clients, determining variances after comparing with Nulogy;
  • Prepare weekly/monthly inventory reports for clients and provide comments on variances;
  • Resolve STO issues by contacting counterparts and IT;
  • Investigate BOM issues to understand differences and request inventory adjustments;
  • Investigate blocked invoices as requested by Finance;
  • Perform reconciliation transactions after project completion to write off/adjust scrap and shortages;
  • Post sub-components for Nestle declarations and WIP for various clients;
  • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies;
  • Perform weekly/monthly counts and request supplies and materials.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Business, Purchasing, or Related Courses an asset);
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Inventory and Accounting (food processing or food packaging environment preferred);
  • Experience using SAP, or any ERP & MRP systems to track inventory;
  • Experience using Nulogy is an asset;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials movement preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organization skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) proficiency.
