Amica Senior Lifestyles is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at our Independent Living residence in British Columbia. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and contributing to a supportive and inclusive environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall resident experience

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset
