Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Amica Senior Lifestyles is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Beechwood Village in [Location].

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and caring LPN to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing the physical and emotional needs of our residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess the physical and emotional needs of residents and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document resident care and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset
