The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Amica Beechwood Village. As a Senior Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing assessments, and developing personalized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and coordinate resident care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and develop strategies for improving outcomes
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity
Requirements
  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset
