We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Engineering Team Lead to join our innovative team and lead the overall engineering development of Spire's designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the electrical engineering development process, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive electrical design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, facilitating effective communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Provide production support to the manufacturing team, ensuring seamless integration of electrical components into the final product.
  • Foster collaboration with team members from various disciplines to achieve shared goals and objectives.

This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, including expertise in electronics theory, component knowledge, analogue and digital circuitry, and PCB design. Experience with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters, is also essential.

Preferred Skills:
  • Rapid prototyping experience using agile methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of RF theory and circuitry, including power amplifiers, filters, and layout design.
  • Experience with environmental testing and validation procedures.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Python, scripting, and testing automation.

As a valued member of our team, you will have access to US export-controlled software and technology, which may require special clearance or authorization.
