Civil Engineering Project Technologist Position in Cambridge

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at Thurber Engineering Ltd. in Cambridge, Ontario.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing construction inspection and quality control/assurance testing for various infrastructure and transportation projects. Responsibilities include conducting field compaction testing of soils, laboratory testing on soils and concrete, field concrete testing as per CSA requirements, and conducting pile construction monitoring for driven steel and cast-in-place concrete piles.
- Collaborate with project engineers and client representatives
- Travel to construction sites as required
The ideal candidate will have completed a College program in Civil Engineering Technology and possess 1-2 years of experience in the field of construction materials testing. Registration with OACETT or immediate eligibility is also required.
Compensation Package: Our estimate suggests an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
