Lead Pharmacy Operations Manager

As a key player in our Pharmacy department, you will oversee the daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical care to our customers. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient well-being and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of pharmacy personnel.
- Ensure the financial and operational performance of the pharmacy department meets established goals.
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications to patients in a timely manner.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter products to meet patient needs.
- Engage with patients to provide counseling on medications and health-related inquiries.
- Promote public health initiatives and community engagement through educational outreach.
- Address and resolve patient and physician inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth within the pharmacy.
- Control operational costs and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist license are essential.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.
- Experience in community-based marketing strategies to enhance business growth.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in implementing action plans.
- Proficient in personal computing and familiarity with pharmacy management systems is an asset.
